Merry Zmas and Party till it's 2009!

Yes Zmas!!!! I think I've had some function, party, event, and/or Zmas related activity to do every day of December. It's been pretty rough, but it sure has gone by fast. Pretty soon it will be 2009. I remember when I was kid, thinking, someday it will be the year 2000, but it seemed so far in the future. I feel like now, it's not even that cool anymore... just blah one more year. I suppose a better way to look at it would be, what does the next year hold in store?

I'm hoping to pay off a good chunk of debt, travel to Japan, camp at Yellowstone, go to Colorado for Christmas, save some money, stay in shape, learn more about Roller Derby. That sounds like a pretty good year. I may not accomplish all of those but hopefully the majority of them. As I get older I get more and more nostalgic for the past. I miss being a kid, when time went by much slower, you could remember individual days, rather than having weeks fly by. It is a little daunting to think as I get older time will only go by faster, so it is that much more important to do what you want to do, and not waste it.

Wow, so I didn't mean for this to turn into some sort of "count your blessings" or "new year's resolution" type of post. Ah well, drink some champagne and party like it's 2009!!!!
